Returning to the Heart

A Heart-Opening Yoga Nidra Meditation

This gentle Yoga Nidra is an invitation to soften, release, and return home to the heart. Practiced on the eve of Valentine’s Day, this guided rest supports the opening of the heart space with compassion, tenderness, and deep presence. As the body is guided into complete relaxation, awareness gently settles into the center of the chest—inviting breath, warmth, and spaciousness to flow where the heart may have been holding, guarding, or carrying too much.

 

Through a soothing body scan, calming breath awareness, and heart-centered imagery, you’ll be guided to release old emotional weight and reconnect with your innate capacity for love; beginning with yourself. This practice is not about striving to open the heart, but allowing it to open naturally, at its own pace, in safety and ease.

 

Returning to the Heart is a practice of remembrance: remembering your wholeness, your tenderness, and your ability to give and receive love freely. You’ll awaken feeling rested, supported, and gently re-aligned with the quiet wisdom of your heart.
